1. Growth gets stunted on technical ladder 2. Second class citizen treatment compared to NASDAQ OMX headquarters in NY since PHLX is an acquired company even though options business earns good revenue for the mothership

You could learn business well, some related technologies, definitely good for resume. Some systems are such a stupid mix of everything that some people that touched them could pretend to be gods.

No way to grow except for brown noses. Lots of self inflicted problems. Management forces down technical decisions without listening to pros.
