I have been working at Phoenix Marketing International full-time

    Pros

Decent salary and bonus if management likes you.

    Cons

Unfortunately, no one at this company understands how to run one. Clients were constantly leaving because they refuse to keep up with the industry and evolve. I don't see this place being in business for more then 3-5 years at this point. They're constantly trying to save money on things and not investing anything back into the business, all to line the upper management and owners pockets. They took away tools that saved time for employees, only to save the money these tools cost, which resulted in employees working weekends to finish the work. The female management is horrible - a lot of immature behavior, tattle taling, and talking behind backs, which trickles down to employees with bad attitudes - it felt like high school. You will immediately realize this place is not run correctly, nor does it function like a well run company should. This place has a massive, massive culture issue.

    Pros

Management really cares about their employees and their success. They provide flexibility and all the resources required to take on additional responsibilities and grow your career. Very flexible with work / life balance. People that succeed are well compensated. Management even has an annual profit sharing that can bosst your income. Great benefits.

    Cons

If you are not a self starter or lack skills your mistakes will become evident quickly.

I have been working at Phoenix Marketing International full-time

    Pros

    Good pay, good benefits, flexibility

    Cons

Unfortunately, the company is very mismanaged, with no core-culture or true leadership. It's just an archaic company trying to stay afloat and keep it's clients in an ever changing market research world. Upper management doesn't seem to know what they're doing, there is a lot of cattiness, and some rule with an iron fist without consequences and take a very long time to get fired. There is also no investment in the company or technology like normal companies - they would rather employees do things by hand rather than invest in technology to free up time to improve products/clients or offer innovative products to clients.

Overall, this company is just all over the place, it doesn't seem like anyone in leadership positions know what they're doing, or really care, as long as money is funneling into their pockets.

    Advice to Management

Embrace technology, invest in your company and you coworkers or the company is going to slowly fail

    Pros

Most are nice people and hard workers. Flexibility of working from home is good

    Cons

Management doesn't manage. Some senior people are smart but not managed. Not a lot of sales so security is uncertain.

    Advice to Management

Please provide some leadership and clean out those that aren't selling or managing.

    Pros

Flexible work set-up (can work from home) and great co-workers. As a small company, talking to upper management is easy to do and they are always willing to listen. Independent work environment and no micro managing.

    Cons

In an effort to keep costs at bay, workload can be very high and lots of extra hours are put in each week with little end in sight. Pay isn't the greatest. Little room for advancement.

    Advice to Management

Don't undercut the competition with lower prices - that just results in overloaded employees that can make mistakes and produce poor results.
