Fast paced, but great learning opportunity

    Pros

You'll never be without hours to work; the company keeps its employees busy. For students who are looking to go to med school or PA school, you will definitely gain a wide range of experience..

    Cons

I wish they paid their employees a little bit more. The days can be a little long if the ER is busy.

    Pros

The experience you get as a medical scribe is unparalleled since there really isn’t any other job that you get to see the interaction between the physician and patient. It’s something new every day, especially if you’re in the ER

    Cons

The pay could definitely be more for a heavy work load and our particular clinic had issues being understaffed since our “back-ups” usually had other jobs and were never actually available.

    Pros

Friendly corporate staff Great clinical experience for medical school At least they’re not ScribeAmerica Wearing scrubs I honestly think scribing is fun, not many feel the same though

    Cons

Recently acquired by/merged with ScribeAmerica - why???? Incredibly poor pay for the amount of work and responsibility, especially during first 3 months Traveling to work at regional hospitals No EMR training prior to floor training - unpaid online training is significantly different from floor training Long hours

    Pros

    Experience in medical care

    Cons

You’re treated by everyone like meat. Poor hours, even poorer wages. Expectations of availability are insane. Your chiefs couldn’t care whether you’re dead or alive. Your training online is extensive and guess what? You don’t get paid for the weeks of free labor.
