I worked at Physicians Choice Laboratory Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There were absolutely no positives about working for PCLS. Science team management was a complete joke, with a few workers standing out from all the idiocy that were given a chance to shine as they carried all of the workload.

    Cons

    Didn't shut down soon enough.

    Advice to Management

Good luck with your employment search; you may want to delete this experience from your resume.

I worked at Physicians Choice Laboratory Services full-time

    Pros

I met a lot of great people while working there. I also gained a lot of experience and have contacts that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

    Cons

Management did not use or listen to the people who actually cared about the company. It crumbled from the top and it was something that could have been avoid had more people in charge used the buddy system less frequently and actually listened to people trying to save their company. They also ultimately screwed over a lot of people who had put their trust in the company and worked hard. This is something I could not stand by and watch and was the ultimate reason for leaving.

I worked at Physicians Choice Laboratory Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The regional sales manager was knowledgable in the industry. The interview process was easy. I liked the members of my sales training class.

    Cons

The company hired me and then laid me (as well as another 120 staff) off one month later due to "cutbacks in Medicare reimbursement." I'm sure management knew the cutbacks were possible, even likely, and yet continued to hire new sales reps.
