    Pros

Good pay, flexibility, fun atmosphere even if not always perfectly professional

"The Ol' Boys' Club" is very active in this organization.

I worked at Physicians Hospital System full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good pay
    Caring nursing staff
Small facility - you don't get lost in the shuffle
    12 hour shifts

    Cons

Just changed over to psych patients - no safety for staff
No computer charting - makes getting effective documentation almost impossible
Physician over facility has no morals
Upper management was in a state of flux - no one knew what was going on and someone was always trying to change something
    Many falls - some undocumented
    Many sentinel events

    Advice to Management

Always have enough help on the floor- it's not always about money
I would never bring my family or anyone I know to this facility
I don't believe you would stand behind any of your employees if something awful happens
This facility needs a lot fixed internally

    Pros

Outstanding leader, physicians, and staff that care a lot about their patients and the community.
    Beautiful and well maintained facilities.

    Cons

Should have not entered into a lease agreement with the landloard.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Flexibility with work hours and independent work situations

    Cons

Wanting low level management employees to be "on call" 24/7. No respect for family time at all. Gave excellent feedback about job performance until time for "official" review where then employees were "just average" Senior management bickered between themselves and if was very confusing as to who you actually reported to. Felt threatened when cooperating with federal investigation related to possible fraud in admission/billing practices.

    Advice to Management

Lead by example and respect a persons time with their families
