I worked at Pic Agency as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Learning experience preparing assets for projects. Flexible with sick days.

    Cons

You are exposed to a range of projects but hear scolding from one of the owners when things are not done properly.

    Pros

    None, this place was awful

    Cons

Maybe one of the worst job experiences of me entire life, wasn't even paid until four months after I quit

    Pros

    -Some cool work and projects.
    - Jarik was the real boss.

    Cons

    - Pamela won't let anyone speak anything other than English even between private conversations during lunch time. (Which is illegal btw)
    - Pamela asks all the Asians what is their "Real name". Racist much.
    - extremely low pay. They always have ads looking for cheap af freelancers who get barely paid more than minimum wage. Look at the wages.

    Advice to Management

Pamela needs diversity and management training.

I worked at Pic Agency full-time

    Pros

    None that come to mind.

    Cons

This place is without exaggeration the worst place I have ever worked. If you are even remotely considering a job here just run as fast as you can and don't ever look back. The management is beyond terrible: Pamela enjoys being verbally abusive to her employees, paying everyone less than what they're worth, and generally being impossible to work with or for. If you can last there longer than a few months you deserve a medal, a raise, and a few years of free therapy b/c you will def need it.

    Advice to Management

You can't really give advice to people who won't listen.

I worked at Pic Agency (Less than a year)

    Pros

You'll learn how to be a better person by not doing what the EP does. This has been my experience at two companies in a row. Anyways, jobs were great, clients were great, most of the reviews were correct about the rest.

    Cons

    Everything but the jobs.

    Advice to Management

Start over. Also, let people leave on time.

I worked at Pic Agency (More than a year)

    Pros

The only good thing is that I learned there how NOT to treat people and how NOT to run a company, and I met a lot of great people - the turnaround at that place is unbelievable! - who when they were not being screamed at were nice and good at their job.

    Cons

There are so many things that are wrong with PIC that working there will really affect your life in a negative way. The office is dirty, there is no HR department, no IT support, the computers and internet are horribly slow, if you need a plugin its a huge deal even if you try to explain that it will save time and money in the long run. The pay is really low and the demands and expectations are unrealistic. Everyone is disrespected by the management. The blame game in that place is really bad. Everything is everyone's faults but the management. Theres so many other things I can say, but the main thing is don't work there you will be in a bad mood constantly and it will make you lose the passion you have for your job.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to respect people and how to do something else other than talk nonstop so that you will not waste everyone's time.

I worked at Pic Agency (More than a year)

    Pros

Worked there on a few projects in the last couple of years but enough is enough, so no more. The only good thing about working at PIC Agency was that I got to meet many many talented and hardworking people in support positions who did ALL the work for the management. Alexandra in particular is amazing. But they all kept leaving because no one could survive it for more than a few months and In some cases weeks or even days.

    Cons

Ok. Here is why this place qualifies as the Post-Production House of Horrors - you are told to use super old barely working computers, old software, and with the slowest internet connection sitting in a dirty room full of ripped dog toys pieces spread all over the floor. Yes, there is a dog (which will eat your food even if you leave it covered on your desk for 5secs) that barks nonstop while you work and the owner does nothing about it to stop it. And then there are rats. Not a figure of speech, real rats! When one dies the smell is disgusting and sometimes you have to smell it for days. It'd be way more productive not to mention pleasant working from home, but designers/animators are told to come in to waste time on old computers and "enjoy" listening to nonsense BS of the person in charge. No one understands what she says or the notes she writes, so every time after a meeting everyone tries to decipher her attempts at communication. I can go on and on about it, about how she will try to lower your rate every time you get booked and how late the payments are, and how horrible the work process is, but the main reason why you should stay away from this place is it's manager Pamela B Green. She treats people in the worst way possible putting them and their hard work down, screaming, blaming everyone for everything, throwing fits when people are trying to do their job, asking them every 5mins if it's done because she doesn't understand how the process of animation works, verbally abusing employees and freelancers in their faces and clients behind their backs. If your work is good she takes credit for it when she is incapable of doing anything herself. And on and on and on and on........

    Advice to Management

No advice that can help them.
