    Pros

It was a quick hiring process, probably because the turnover is so high

    Cons

Expected to work the entire studio alone, photography, selling, paperwork and gather a ridicules number of sweepstakes a day. You are expected to walk around walmart and ask random people to fill out sweepstakes with their personal information.

    Pros

The job itself is fun especially if you enjoy communicating and taking portraits of clients. You operate the entire studio by yourself or with another co-worker so there is a lot of freedom in running the studio.

    Cons

The job was highly stressful because the studio was always understaffed and overbooked. The company would schedule 2 appointments every 15 min whenever they could. This did not leave enough time to shoot and show clients their photos. The photographers were almost always in rush unless it was slow. The turnover was high partly because the job was demanding, but the pay and hours were terrible.

    Advice to Management

Do not overbook and under staff. This results in terrible customer service and customer experience. Also if you want employees with better customer service or photography skills, consider paying studio associates and managers more. The pay was a joke.

    Pros

I honestly can't think of one thing I enjoyed about this job except taking pictures and most of the time I didn't even enjoy that.

    Cons

I barely had any training, I worked at the studio every day for a full month and I was there at least ten hours daily because they didn't want to hire anyone else, everyone I met talked behind your back and tried to get you fired, they had unrealistic expectations, they are the worst job experience I have ever had.

    Advice to Management

    Train the people hired!

I worked at Picture Me Portrait Studios part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Not many pros...I did learn a bit about sales. The one hour lunch break was great. Some of the people I worked with were nice.

    Cons

I was constantly working alone in a business that clearly requires more than one person on the job in order to keep people from getting angry from a long wait. Management was incredibly unprofessional. At the time I was a student in college and they asked me to skip class so that I could come in to work. I refused and quit shortly after so that I could better pursue my education.
