    Pros

    Piedmont Natural Gas is a great company to work.for when it comes to salary and benefits.

    Cons

    There is absolutely no job security unless you choose to be dishonest. PNG works solely on the "Good Ole Boy" system, meaning job performance means very little. Definitely not a company where quality and integrity matter.

    Advice to Management

    Always remember integrity and hard work will be what your company is known for in the long run!

    Cons

    company has merged with Duke Energy, the future is uncertain, micromanaging supervisor, the business office has to take calls with the call center, communication is often lost in translation or not communicated at all.

    keep communication open, don't be so busy to forget about the needs of employees

    Atmosphere is good, management listens and they are in the process of upgrading technology.

    Could try implementation of a few technologies at at time instead of all at once

    Work and Life balance is good. It is a place where you can just work 5 days/week and keep up.

    Cons

    The company and industry is very far behind needed technology where many other industries are much farther along. The leaders of this company aren't aware of these other technologies and want to keep it that way to keep from looking ......
