    Pros

co-workers, legal assistant title on my resume, BK and FC experience

    Cons

over-worker, favoritism and immature managing staff. To top it off, some of the people in the HR department are friends with staff members, so complaints about their friends aren't taken seriously.

I worked at Pierce & Associates full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are a lot of good and hardworking people currently working there. They also offer decent benefits and you are paid timely.

    Cons

This place has merged multiple times in the last 18 months. Since the mergers, there have been mass layoffs. Business will likely not improve as foreclosures are down. They stopped offering a Christmas bonuses. The raises they may offer are extremely low as well. The foreclosure department is the definition of a train wreck. Attorneys and staff are continually being asked to handle more and more tasks (of course...

    Advice to Management

The Foreclosure department has been and continues to be managed by those who are ignorant of the responsibilities handled by their employees. Others are purely incompetent and unprofessional. The environment is both depressing and toxic. A major overhaul involving removing particular individuals is required to change the culture.

    Pros

Its a paycheck until you can find something more stable

    Cons

The cons are typical for a company that has had a large number of frequent layoffs. Workloads will then double causing for more problems, backlog and more people to leave or be let go.

I have been working at Pierce & Associates full-time for less than a year

    Pros

-Coworkers are awesome. Truly one of the motivators to come in every day. -3 weeks vacation that you'll never get to use without feeling stressed out

    Cons

-Each employee is given way too much of a workload. There is literally no way to complete everything on your plate in 8 hours -Defacto expectation of overtime. If you don't work OT you will never catch up or be ahead. If you don't catch up and aren't ahead then you'll be reprimanded. There is no way to win. -Training is terrible. There is no formal training in the foreclosure process aside from a PowerPoint. There...
