I worked at Pike Corporation (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Some good people to work with. Large company with stability. Office support is great! Always seem to be welcoming technological advances.

    Cons

Executives get amnesia way too often. Nepotism is the predominant growth path. No on boarding or training. After your hired, you immediately turn into a number. Egos for both the Company and Executives.

    Advice to Management

They wont listen, so I will not waste my time. But, being we need 100 words: treat everyone like family. Remember who ultimately performs the billable work.

    Pros

Great people, great work environment, challenging work

    Cons

Sometimes the work load is very light, sometimes it seems like there aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done. But honestly, this is pretty normal in this field.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

    Pros

Good work environment. My coworkers are like family.

    Cons

Paid time off and vacation options

    Advice to Management

Be a good steward of this company. Look forward to new opportunities, technologies, and efficiencies, and not backwards to “how it’s always been done.” There will come a day when our profit margins and growth slow down; we will look back to today and either be able to say that we confronted those challenges head on and succeeded or squandered our good fortune, money, and time.
