    Fast paced environment
    Some paid holidays

    Cons

Forcing employees to work 7 12 hour shifts without overtime pay for salaried workers is not only unethical, it is the biggest downside to the company.

Overtime pay is necessary to avoid turnover
Instead of forcing employees to uphold an image, let the work you do speak for itself

I have been working at Pilot Catastrophe Services, Inc. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great Pay if you don't divide out the hours you work to get that check. If your manager approves your billing you will ALWAYS get paid on time. Plenty of opportunities to volunteer so the owners of the company can look good.

    Cons

Buddy Buddy Politics at it's finest (especially in the Auto Group) The workers on the team that produce the results will be the ones that are the sweat workers while the buddy's that can't produce or are just too lazy will have their expectations lowered to justify a position or placed on a "special project". A good paycheck but when you divide out the hours and the time away from your family it really isn't that much. Management is pompous, looks down on you, and hides their ignorance and faults by being jerks. They promise the world but at the end of the day all that matters is who sucks up to management the most.

    Advice to Management

Upper Management needs to clean house in the auto group. Needs to be random drug tests. Too many HR issues to mention. Needs to be a checks and balances to make sure that the producers are working and the non-producers are sitting at home. It's terrible how they hide some employees from the vendor and cook the reports to make the numbers look better.

    Cons

Some of the managers were, for a lack of better words, UNSAVORY... However, it still was a good place to work...

    Advice to Management

Stop being so CRITICAL & ABRASIVE TOWARD YOUR EMPLOYEES...
