    Pros

Great work environment. No micro managing. Lets you work how you want to as long as the job is getting done.

    Cons

If you cannot multi task this is not the job for you. Very high pace environment. Can get overwhelming at times

    Advice to Management

    Better raises

I have been working at Pilot Freight Services full-time

    Pros

Opportunities for overtime, understanding management, reasonable hours, excellent pay and benefits, rapid company growth overall, busy days. Fantastic company growth in the micro and macro levels. Regardless of prior reviews, this is what I see to be accurate from my own experiences.

    Cons

If one is searching for a job that is "easy" or that takes little to no effort, this isn't it. If you're a hard worker, dedicated to teamwork, and understand the very fast pace intensities of distribution then this is for you.

    Advice to Management

    Carry on!

I have been working at Pilot Freight Services (Less than a year)

    Pros

    NONE!!!!
Although the location may be good, that is the only thing.
You are better off commuting to anywhere else

    Cons

    TOO MANY TO LIST!
If you want to be emotionally abused all day this is the place for you.

    Advice to Management

    Clean up and start over

    Pros

There are no pros to working for this company.

    Cons

Everything. The DM seems to be a nice guy while interviewing, once in the door it all changes.

    Advice to Management

If an employee goes to HR with a complaint, research it. Make sure the DM is not in charge of overtime. He has a tendency to cook the time system.

    Pros

Managment is agreeable and supportive. Some locations have opportunities to advance. Bonuses are available. Company seems to be mostly heading in the right direction.

    Cons

Inflexible scheduling, especially with weekends, nights, and holidays. Long hours are frequently required and not adequately compensated. Some locations have zero opportunities to advance.

I worked at Pilot Freight Services (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I was in sales and had a significant amount of business so I made good commission

    Cons

This company is a mixture of franchises and company own offices, the cultures are very different in the franchise offices and depending on which franchise you work for they might have shallow pockets, I worked for a franchise that wasn't paying expenses and providing reports retirement funds, it was an absolute nightmare. If you work for the corporate office or a company owned station you are working for a company that is owned by an investment company that is run by a guy that doesn't have a very good track record, so bottom line if your a franchise or company owned location employee I would keep my eyes open for a new job

    Advice to Management

you don't have the resources to be a global player and domestic air freight is dead
