    Pros

My coworkers were really great people; whatever algorithm Pinkberry uses to hire its workers is effective, to say the least. If you're hardworking and the management likes you, the opportunities to be promoted to shift leader and then to store or even branch manager are pretty good (mainly because there's a fair bit of turnover, so dedication counts for a lot.) The product is pretty darn tasty, too, which has to count for something. Stores tend to be very understanding about unpaid time off as long as you give sufficient warning.

    Cons

The store I worked in was fairly overstaffed. This wasn't a problem for me so much as a part time employee, but I know it annoyed some of my coworkers who didn't feel like they were getting enough hours. The aforementioned turnover was occasionally irritating, as new employees needed to be trained pretty continually.

    Advice to Management

I would caution them to just be more careful in scouting locations for new stores; the store I worked in was very empty, even in the summer "busy" months, and many locals could probably have told Pinkberry that that would be the case.

    Pros

You meet great people. Great first job!

    Cons

Does get pretty busy during the summer. Hours get cut during the fall and winter dramatically. Pay is not great. FILTHY working conditions!!!!!!!

I have been working at Pinkberry full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some of the customers are awesome and will be the bright spots in your otherwise dismal day.

    Cons

Terrible management - they usually schedule shift leads from 9 to 5 on SOLO shifts so there's no time for any kind of break because there's all that fruit to prep, yogurt to make, dishes to clean, paperwork to fill out, orders to place, customers to take care of, etc. I had to go to the hospital twice now for dehydration-related issues due to going so long at work without even being able to take one sip of water. Management also has a tendency to brush off employee concerns over anything - so if you have a problem at work or need help, you're screwed.

They also tend to hire maybe one or two decent employees per store and then staff the rest of it with idiots. You'll have your one or two people doing all the work ( for minimum wage) while others get promotions and praise for being on their cell phones in the back room, showing up late to shifts, and/or hiding in the walkin to avoid having to deal with customers.

    Advice to Management

    Give ALL employees breaks.
    No more solo shifts.
Take more care with the hiring process.
Pay better. Oh, and offer benefits to all full time employees, not just your lazy GMs.
