I have been working at Pinnacle Airlines (More than 8 years)

    Pros

In 2004 we were a family that took pride in our company. I looked forward to going to work to see my friends. I took pride in our company by putting on my uniform and getting people where they needed to go.

    Cons

Family has been destroyed by greed and selfishness. Love has been replaced by distrust. Faithful employees have lost their fire for the job and for the company.

    Advice to Management

Look at the employees - we are the company. Take your greed and hatefulness some other place . What we the employees of Pinnacle want is our company back. If you take care of the people we will take care of the customers. The customers will take of us. People. Service. Profit.

I have been working at Pinnacle Airlines full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

As a former Mesaba Flight Attendant for 15 years, we are now Pinnacle employees due to Delta selling Mesaba to Pinnacle. I am sad to say there are no "pros" to working for this company. The treatment by management is extremely horrible while the CEO and CFO get hundreds of thousand dollar raises and then they file for bankruptcy. It is so corrupt and the morale is beyond low.

    Cons

Everything about working for Pinnacle is just about horrible. I cannot think of anything positive to say about the company. I only remind my self it's a job to keep my sanity. Due to the bankruptcy the front line employees are forced to take extreme cuts in pay and benefits. The management has no respect for their employees and actually do not want their employees to stay because then you are no longer an asset but a liability, ie: you are too senior and there for cost us more so please quit so we can hire new people to do your job for the cheapest pay possible. Including pilots. Pilots/FA's/Mechanics/Agents have a lot of stress to handle and deserve to be paid a fair wage. Mesaba was making a profit while still treating their employees at least half way decent. Working for Pinnacle is a new low.

    Advice to Management

You should be ashamed by how your company is being rated. Take a look at what these employees are saying and really listen! And this also means Delta. Don't think for a minute we don't know why our pay/bene's have been slashed so low, it all stems from the top and if Delta can get Pinnacle to get their employees to accept the worst contracts then they benefit and it will trickle down to all other regional airlines too. It's a race to the bottom industry.

    Pros

Good platform to earn experience in all phases of aircraft maintenance.

Great working enviroment in the maintenance department in ATL.

High skill labor makes a great team on the line.

    Cons

going thru difficult time with chapter 11. It will require more sacrifice but it can be done.

some employees are quick to blame the situation of the company to management but all of us are in this together.

    Advice to Management

Pay closer attention to your front line personnel, they can make or brake this company. See what troubles them and help them get thru, as they surely will help this company move forward.

    Pros

Only benefit is Pass Travel benefits. They are taking away our vacation, 401(k) and good health care.

    Cons

They are going through chapter 11 bankruptcy, and while they cut benefits and pay for employees that haven't had a raise in 2 years, they give ceo's and vp's pay raises and bonus.

    Advice to Management

Cut out the corruption and show some compassion for your workers!

    Pros

Flight benefits even with poor seniority.
    It's a job.

    Cons

Management only cares about the company, not about people at all.
No communication. Everything choice here is a secret until the decision is already made.
Pay sucks. No raises and they are trying to cut our pay even more due to bankruptcy.

    Advice to Management

Hire someone who gives a crap about something than their own pocket, then resign.
