    Pros

It's a good place to receive comps.

    Cons

The pit supervisors often are bias especially the white ones

    Advice to Management

You use double standard rules in regards to your patrons. One set for blacks and other minorities and a different set for Asians and whites. An example is when I sat at an empty baccurat place I was asked to displace myself because an Asian lady returned after she had been playing at other tables. I refused an was evicted even when the camera showed that the place that I sat at was emptyand no markers or money was on that particular spot. All minorities should unite and boycott this casino because of their unfair treatment toward minorities.

    Pros

    Pay and benefits are good.

    Cons

Certain managers are very unprofessional and great team members as disposable.

    Advice to Management

Look at who is managing the managers. Especially in the Food & Beverage department.

I worked at Pinnacle Entertainment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The only pro is that you know the business won't randomly tank, leaving you jobless.

    Cons

There are literally too many to list, but the biggest one is the way management and executive chefs are able to manipulate the HR system, which is riddled with loopholes for their advantage.

    Advice to Management

Someone needs to investigate the ongoing situation of drama and high employee turnover in the bakery department at River City. The current executive Pastry Chef has behavioral problems that should (by their own company standards) deem him unfit to manage a team. He has been reported to HR multiple times, and has somehow maintained his position of power and overcompensation for the very little work that he does.

I have been working at Pinnacle Entertainment full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

This used to be such a great place to work. Coworkers are great and really care about the company and each other. Pay is decent for the area.

    Cons

Senior management is unethical. They tell us we are going to grow and buy other casinos, then a few months later, we find out they sold us. Senior management is getting richer, while the rest of us are just losing our jobs!

The leadership doesn't live by the company's values, and HR enables them. If you ever have to report someone for breaking company policy, make sure you do an anonymous hotline call. I've seen people get fired because they reported on their boss to HR.

    Advice to Management

Don't lie to your employees. Get rid of the abusive, unethical people in senior management. They are giving the rest of you a bad name.
