I have been working at Pitney Bowes full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay is amazing. I sell supplies by making outbound calls to current customers. The bonus opportunities are way more than I made selling health and life insurance. Benefits are great from DAY ONE. They almost always have something going for the employees, contests, free lunch, awards ceremonies, etc. I feel there is room to grow in this company and I plan on staking my career here. The company is making some big changes in reinventing itself and we get to be a part of that change.

    Cons

Making the same outbound calls all day can be boring, it's true. Some days can be frustrating as well, but, if you are motivated and stick with it, it is a great job.

    Advice to Management

I think the management is great. I actually met and shook hands with the CEO this week, which being an entry level employee at a site literally across the country from his base of ops, is pretty awesome. My only advice would be to be more inclusive with the statistics, sales comparisons, trends, that sort of thing. It would help keep the lower level staff more engaged.

    Pros

Very nice work environment where it is easy to communicate with team members. People in general are very amicable. Work load is reasonable and deadlines are manageable.

    Cons

Company itself is not on the forefront of innovation. Future outlook is not certain, but should be stable for another couple years.
