    Pros

Write your own check by working overtime. Paid breaks, overall easy work. Some fellow workers were good people. Some management was caring, but not many.

    Cons

Not much money if you don’t work overtime, but 12 hour schedule allows for plenty of time off, if you want to be broke. There is no advancement or opportunity for betterment.

    Advice to Management

Care about your people and not just your numbers.

I have been working at Pittsburgh Glass Works full-time

    Pros

Good pay, good benefits, good people to work with and company just sold to LKQ. Many supervisors and managers do care about the employees and I would recommend this company for a career choice. As with many companies, there is room for improvement. PGW is trying to change and change doesn't happen overnight. Let's see what the future holds...

    Cons

Corporate don't always listen to plant concerns. Lots of overtime. Challenging at times to have work life balance. Old CEO was terrible and it all rolled down hill as acceptable behavior. Now that he is gone, hope it gets better.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees more and spend some money on new equipment for plants that make you a lot of money with poor equipment...think what they could do with better equipment.

I have been working at Pittsburgh Glass Works full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good people to work with on most area's of the company. They care about their jobs and the work they do but....

    Cons

The management team has no idea what leadership is, lack vision and as currently structured, only know how to tear a company down, not build it back up.

    Advice to Management

Move on and get in folks that know what they are doing!
