    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Pivot Physical Therapy full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good company to work for. However, the gap between departments is insurmountable. One department is allowed to speak to another like they're worthless. When brought to management's attention, nothing is done about it.

    Cons

Pay for experience. There is ZERO room for growth, outward or upward so do not plan on a career here. I have tried & failed more than once.

    Advice to Management

Stop the bullying. One department is not better than another. If the front desk people were to all walk out, what would happen? Make sure all departments are treated EQUALLY. Take a good hard look at emails coming from "billing" or "intake."

I worked at Pivot Physical Therapy full-time

    Pros

Pivot is a growing organization with great brand awareness on the east coast. They hire great employees who really care about their patients.

    Cons

Pivot was growing too fast and focusing too much on profit at the cost of balancing patient care and need for 1:1 attention.

I worked at Pivot Physical Therapy

    Pros

Don’t have to work every weekend, that’s about it.

    Cons

Extremely low pay No 401k match No raises See excessive amounts of patients per day, sometimes up to 18 No time for lunch (seriously) Poor benefits (vacation and health insurance subpar) Don’t get too close with co-workers, they won’t be there long.

    Advice to Management

Actually value your employees instead of looking at them as numbers on a spreadsheet. Pay them fairly, give them time off to spend with their family. Also, give patients some 1:1 time, not 4:1, so that they can actually get halfway decent care.

I have been working at Pivot Physical Therapy full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Most locations do not require weekends.

    Cons

Raises. Loyalty and consistency mean nothing. Communication DOESN'T exist. RMs and AMs never resolve anything and will not even think of approaching something that may cause confrontation.

    Advice to Management

Know the worth of all your employees. An employee that shows dedication is your biggest asset. Stop choosing to advance in pay or title for ones that dont do their job.
