I have been working at Pizza Hut part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I like the crew members, and the customers that work there. I get a chance to meet all different people and serve them as well.

    Cons

It's the busiest Pizza Hut in Richmond and not enough crew members.

    Advice to Management

They need to hire new people and work on getting the place together more.

I have been working at Pizza Hut part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    you can make decent money
some managers bust their chops to make things work
    you see some crazy stuff
plenty of opportunities for mobility, you can usually work any position since they are all constantly in need if you are a good worker.

    Cons

-never enough people to get the job done in a timely manner
-always expected to stay after your shift to help do insider stuff
-no money for car care (gas reimbursement only)
-upper management not exactly rocket scientist
-micromanagement is ruining our delivery time
-new system that assigns our delivery's is stupid and has literally doubled our delivery time by not allowing smart doubles and instead assigning horrible doubles and then not allowing managers to over ride.
-don't get too attached to your car
-one person can get the entire store fired if they cause enough health inspection fails (this has happened in our store, one person caused 2 fails and almost caused a third)

    Advice to Management

The new way the system assigns orders is wasting so much time when orders are just sitting around. For example: so if the system assigns a double orders 1 and 3 to driver 1, but since we aren't allowed to over ride for anything, delivery driver 2 who is taking order 2 has to wait for orders 1 and 3 to be dispatched, this might not seem like a big deal but it adds up, especially since some one insist that a delivery time of 23 minutes is realistic as a default when on average it takes 11 minutes (in a perfect setting) for the pizza to get made and through the oven and over 10 minutes for us to reach the farthest areas in our delivery area (not taking into account traffic or trains) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE think things through before you implement new changes, the customers are getting really angry about how long our delivery times are getting recently and you are starting to lose some of them.
when you short the staff because you think you are saving on labor, you are just paying more to the closing driver/cooks because they have to stay longer to finish the work that 2 people can finish in half the time (good for me because it usually pushes me into overtime)
Also, you guys are working your managers into early graves, i would never ever want to be a manager at your stores, as one put it "i live in pizza hut, i only occasionally visit home"

I have been working at Pizza Hut full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    There are not any perks.

    Cons

You'll be over worked, and under paid. You will also have to wash hundreds of dishes at the end of your cook shift.

    Advice to Management

Stop smoking so many cigarettes inside and outside the building, and do some work.

I have been working at Pizza Hut full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Gives you basic training on how to run shifts, manage people, handle money, deal with stressful situations, etc. It's not too hard of a job, but can be stressful sometimes.

    Cons

The company doesn't care about its employees. The pay is laughably low. Drivers will make more than managers even though they are the ones doing everything: cooking, cutting, handling money, taking calls and orders, prepping dough, opening and closing, cleaning, and the list goes on.....

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees a livable wage and stop trying to micromanage everything when you have no real insight into how one of your stores actually runs.

I worked at Pizza Hut part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great laid back job while going to school. Pay from tips can be really great depending on your delivery area.

    Cons

There will be times when there aren't many orders coming in, so tips will be low. Management can either be really cool or an extreme pain.
