Overall quality and treatment of employees had increased. Uniform standards are better and management as well.

I worked at Pizza Hut part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You will grow as a person. Hopefully not into a bitter, pessimistic person; hopefully into a more understanding person. You will better understand the working class. It will give you perspective. Realistically though, it will give you life skills, or teach you how incompatible you are going to be with the rest of the world.

Also, the moments you will share with your coworkers...the stories you will accumulate...worth it.

    Cons

The customers are always right even when they're wrong. You don't get paid enough to deal with the emotional abuse the customers dish out.

    Advice to Management

Give shift supervisors more leeway about how many people are allowed to be kept on the clock. Far too often, supervisors are forced to send people home, that they need, because the store's cost in labor is too high a percentage. There are very few of us who can be as effective as two or more people. We burn out. Be compassionate at least in that. Because you don't pay enough for all the therapy I need now.

    Cons

I can have my times were my speed can go down a little and take longer than usual depending on what I have to do compare to other days

    Advice to Management

Always try to make the customers feel welcomed and not treat them bad even if they do

I have been working at Pizza Hut part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible scheduling
    Easy with a GPS
Not nearly as fast paced as a regular restaraunt job
    Easy to move up

    Cons

Hours can be cut short or severely expanded if there are too many/too few people working there
It can be easy to be overwhelmed by too many deliveries at times

    Advice to Management

You have to make sure you do better at letting people know there are openings available in your stores. Get others convinced to try and spread the word, etc.
