I have been working at Planet Fitness full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Pay raise every 3 months, free gym membership.

    Cons

There is not as much room for growth as they claim. The more I have worked here the less I have wanted to grow in the company. upper management is always looking for the things that you do wrong instead of giving you any form of praise. everybody is always out to get everyone. regional managment is very unprofessional and will say nothing but terrible things behind your back, wont speak to you when around, and holds grudges like a child. you have to use scripts for calls, and get graded on these. one bad call = one write up. You are constantly being chewed out for billing issues and peoples accounts to which management never backs you up you're on your own. super unorganized and everything's constantly changing such as policies and rules so when you try to enforce them you end up looking stupid because you weren't told things have changed. claim its a ''Judgment free zone'' but will constantly talk badly about members, judge people for not understanding things, and not want to help anyone which is absolutely opposite of what they stand for.

I have been working at Planet Fitness full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You’ll become proficient in a broad range of skills. You’ll create lasting relationships with members and staff. The tools they give you can be used anywhere.

    Cons

The starting pay is a little low but advancement opportunities are there! There is a bit of a communication issue within upper management but if you keep to yourself and do what you need to do you don’t have to worry about it.
