The people are fantastic, wonderful colleagues for the most part. The benefits package is unparalleled.

A lot of competition, even internally. There is a lot of work to do and staff are often trying to show themselves as valuable, leading to longer hours and an arms race to answer email. Some leadership has been in place a long time, without evolving or growth it causes a roadblock to advancing and trying new things - change is slow.

The mission is so important and in a time that it feels hard to help in the fight for reproductive freedom, it's rewarding to work at an org that is committed to increasing reproductive health access
Cons
The executive team lacks the skills and leadership to effectively operate the org. Hasty decisions are constantly being made with little/no analysis of the potential impact, and then fingers are pointed when it backfires. It's an extremely toxic work environment and leadership/management often exploits staff because they know how much the work means to the people who work there.
