I have been working here for almost a year and it's the best job experience I've had in healthcare. I have an outstanding work-life balance. I don't feel overworked and we get frequent raises which is really nice!

Cons

Sadly, my experience is only due to my location because I hear the opposite from many employees from different clinics. It just depends if you get lucky enough to have an understanding and friendly manager like mine. If not you are pushed to work around the state to fill in at other clinics due to being so understaffed everywhere and you'll get burnt out.

They market themselves as supporting Black Women and the LGBTQIA+ community, but internally, they are the most racist, exclusive-to-whiteness, bigoted, fatphobic, classist company I have ever worked for. Referring to Rosa Park’s famous stand against racism which led to Ms Park’s arrest as a “metaphorical stand” was mild compared to the rest of the vile disgust that is PP.

Great culture, caring providers, progressive, considerate, room to grow. I loved my fellow coworkers and had some amazing experiences with patients. The most humbling and eye-opening job.

Cons

Poor management, greedy CEO, poor work-life balance. The manager at my affilate was so "checked out", apathic, and close minded it impacted many employees and patients. But this was just one manager at one clinic.

It’s amazing being there for patients. Most of them just need someone to listen & make them feel seen. It’s also a breath of fresh air having coworkers with the same values as you & are there for the same reasons.

Cons

Management. They do not give a damn if you’re overworked or understaffed. They have no empathy which is the whole point of working at PP right?!
