Hi there! I interview for a position with a planned Parenthood this week for a role as Special Events Manager to oversee their fundraising department. Because most of my work and experience has been in freelance. I’m having a hard time figuring out what my work experience translates to in a Salary position. Therefore, I wonder what my base pay should be. Does anyone have any experience in the role?

    Ghost anesthesia provider

Aug 11, 2022 - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Los Angeles, CA
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

high reimbursement rate on the current market

    Cons

Review what you are offered before accepting CRNA position. Hiring system may give a false information about CA State law unless you are interested in becoming an employee. Bulky orientation may not pertinent to the role. The most important keys of information is learnt on the go by trial of mistakes. CRNA job description may appear deceiving. Anesthesia provider usually deliver anesthetic, but classified it as sedation. Since anesthesia for surgical procedures often given not by anesthesia providers, at the level where it is not proper either because of the deeper level of anesthetic, or insufficient for the patient to tolerate surgical procedure. No introduction to your anesthesia colleagues, nor M&M meetings, safety debriefings, staffing meetings. An interview for CRNA role may not include anyone who qualified to give an anesthesia. Anesthesia documented as sedation. Anesthesia equipment is not up to date. Medications which are standard for the critical anesthesia events are not available, and never been listed in the pharmacy. Poor compliance with the CMS, CA DPH regulations. It includes infection control, recovery room standards, documentation and controlled substances handling, level of training, structure and communication. Post-anesthesia orders are not placed by anesthesia providers . No malpractice insurance. Anesthesia services are not up to current standards and regulations. No changes are welcomed. Position with a high pay for being a ghost anesthesia provider in order to fit agenda and politics, and with the hope that It won’t jeopardize a carrier and patients safety.
