I worked at Planned Parenthood full-time

    Pros

You can get away with, even rewarded for, unethical and narcissistic behavior. Those who commit especially grievous acts of fraud, waste, and abuse are promoted to key management positions.

    Cons

Low pay, benefits that are laughable, and daily denigration for any hint of critical thinking skills.

    Advice to Management

Remove the upper level, including the CEO, and start over.

I worked at Planned Parenthood part-time

    Pros

Very simple process without any miscommuniation

    Cons

Extremely rude to patients. All they do is make fun, and belittles patients. They chose to be in the medical field and there will be several patients with different symptoms and issues. Who do they think they are. That is one thing I hated about this place. I chose this field to help people. But the rest of the coworkers enjoyed making fun of patients to make themselves feel better about themselves. perhaps because they are insecure and hideous inside and out.

    Advice to Management

Change your attitude and maintain professionalism

I worked at Planned Parenthood full-time

    Pros

Work is fine, feel good about it

    Cons

the people are trash, the pay is nothing, turnover, no room for advancement, no feeling that you will ever be more than a text and phone monkey, the people don't even have degrees often, it is a joke of a job and it's just not very much above mcdonald's it really isn't at all they know that.

    Advice to Management

Pay more and get better people in, you treat it like second class you know in your heart it is fourth class work.

I worked at Planned Parenthood full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

None, the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Everyone is confused and committing errors.

    Cons

There is no structure working at Planned Parenthood. Patients must be extra careful, staff must have paid for their certificate on a street corner.

I worked at Planned Parenthood full-time

    Pros

There are none. If you have any other options of places to work, take it. They are going to lose funding anyway.

    Cons

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. The HR department is a terrible representation of what the company stands for. This company professes to stand by women and uplift them, but they do the complete opposite. If you do decide to accept a job here, do not negotiate your salary. They will rescind the offer if they feel like you are asking for "too much". So hypocritical and shame on the HR department. Once again, be very mindful of this place HR professionals.

    Advice to Management

The HR department needs a complete revamp. Time to start hiring people that actually display the values of what Planned Parenthood supposedly stands for.

    Pros

    Overall mission of the organization

    Cons

Aggressive-management staff was unfriendly and not willing to work together
after merger the Buffalo staff just wanted to get rid of everyone in Rochester
