I worked at Planned Systems International full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - Valuable work experience - Valuable training opportunities - Inspiring CEO with open-door policy - Nice benefits

    Cons

    - Limited upward mobility - ADA violations are rare, but do occur; when they occur, it can take a while to resolve - HQ does not seem to be in touch with project branches, and being made aware of issues does not mean they will be resolved

I worked at Planned Systems International full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

At the start - small company that would go above and beyond for employees. Family feel and allowed for personal growth. Easy to communicate with management at first. Benefits are good. Starting salary also good.

    Cons

Over time and rapid growth the company lost a lot of its core foundation of being a family. Many loyal employees made significant sacrifices believing they would move up on the corporate ladder but promises never kept. Many employees were terminated via email upon a contract restructure after being told they were "safe". After you are hired pay increases are not distributed fairly based on an annual assessment and do not keep up with the national standard of living. The more you make the small the percentage received. Support staff (non contract billable) has grown distant and seem to forget that they are there to support those of us who bill to contracts - without us they wouldn't have a job. Complacency abound with support staff.

I have been working at Planned Systems International full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

PSI is a great company to work for. Family oriented small business feel to it. They have great benefits and higher salary rates then most small-large companies.

    Cons

Due to the flexible nature of the environment sometimes you will be expected to work on weekends or week day evenings. On the flip side most managers are respectful of your time and will allow you to leave or take a day without using your leave.
