I worked at Plasman Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Its a nice environment to work in, co workers are very nice and courteous, and the pay is not bad.

    Cons

Well it can be very cold in the winter in certain areas of the building but extremely humid during the summer.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you do best.

I have been working at Plasman Group full-time

    Pros

Company generally cares about employees, makes them feel welcome.

    Cons

Growing company so there are natural issues to go along with growth - resources, processes need to keep up to date, etc

    Advice to Management

Focus more on your customer instead of the bottom line

    Pros

    The pay was really good.

    Cons

I was not properly trained for a newly created position....just thrown on the line. I never even got the correct job description for what I was doing. Lots of expectations that I knew nothing of until after the fact. Lots of rude, disrespectful, miserable folks working 3rd. Unorganized and lots of safety hazards. Machine always breaking down causing excessive ot. I did not choose to sleep with the supervisor so I felt like I was hung out to dry. If I wasn't ignored, I always heard "I don't know" etc. Ladies watch out!

    Advice to Management

No one should be expected to work 6 days a week in definitely . People have lives and families. Take the time to properly train for new positions. My position required that I had a degree, but I had no experience at all doing this kind of work. I felt like I could never measure up. There are people more qualified without a degree. Promote them. Review workplace sexual harassment. Clean up chemicals instead of letting them sit. Fix your machine!

I worked at Plasman Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Overall can be a decent workplace. People are generally nice and work together.

    Cons

They're about money, so you should be too. If you apply set your minimum salary high, even higher than what you think you're worth. I had to get government support while working in corporate (not operator on the floor!) because they pay so little. If they want something, they'll pay for it so make them.

    Advice to Management

Think about where you live, where your workers live, and whether what you're paying them is really enough for the location. High turnover is bad for any company. Why not create a team culture that shows you actually value the work they do?

I have been working at Plasman Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Often times very busy and work goes by fast. Some of the best bosses I've worked for.

    Cons

One of the very few frustrating things is culture, if your work depends on others, you will likely encounter "emergencies" where their lack of planning or time management will have them running to you demanding you drop everything to help them. However, if you need information from them or any sort of feedback you won't hear from them for weeks.

HR Department is non-existent, try not to have issues with coworkers or your paychecks because you'll just get the run around for weeks while they hope you forget.

    Advice to Management

    Better HR and departmental managers
