I worked at Plastic Omnium full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

      Clean plant. Coworkers were great.

      Cons

Boss used sarcasm when disciplining employees. Bos made a target out of me after I was hurt and had to take some time off.

      Advice to Management

Look at your managers and make sure they are not making the entire plant angry with them. Trust me. That attitude does not work.

      Pros

There are no Pros about this awful company. Anything and everything you do is not good enough.

      Cons

DO NOT WORK HERE! Management is ridiculously horrible! They put people in management positions that should not have this position. There is no training. No help, no advise given. They beat you down and treat you like dirt! They don't appreciate anything you do.

I worked at Plastic Omnium full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Pays weekly, Very clean environment, can wear shorts. Most upper management great.

      Cons

Pay scale starts low, management treating employees like trash, plan on working weekends several months in a row mandatory if your on a busy line. Temps get treated pretty bad by management and taken advantage of by fulltime employees all the time, temps also get treated poorly by Temp recruiter. No outside/family life due to working alot of 12s with little to no notice. Once seen a whole line walk out from a CEO decision...

      Advice to Management

Get new leadership on 2nd shift; 3rd shift. Treat employees right, unemployement rate is at a 40yr low! Which means you need to pay better, and drop temp service.

Large, global organization with promising growth on the horizon. Clean and safe work environment in the manufacturing plants. Ability to learn and grow in the organization. Excellent benefits offerings.

      Cons

Imabalanced workloads and organizational structure in some departments leads to poor work/life balance for many individuals in the organization. Time management is a challenge because there are too many mandated, long, and unproductive meetings. Leadership in the organization is focused on the wrong things at many times. Some leaders are hiring individuals into management positions who are arrogant and unqualified for...

      Advice to Management

Evaluate your leadership team in North America, specifically in the Auto Inergy Division. Review your voluntary turnover metrics and see the trend in certain departments in the Troy office (as well as the correlating functional relationships to these departments in the plants). People typically don’t leave jobs; they leave their manager/leader.
