Treats Employees Well
May 30, 2023 - Anonymous Employee in Dubuque, IARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
A collaborative team atmosphere with excellent work-life balance. Half-day Fridays are a major perk.
Cons
None that I can think of.

Pros
Helpful home office. They were eager to help me, unlike my team. Good products. Good tools and materials.
Cons
Leadership serves no role except to protect their own position. Actively inhibit learning and they refuse to answer very basic questions. Very bad regional manager. After dealing with him, I understood why everyone here had a terrible attitude and why there was so much backbiting. The biggest problem is that there isn't enough territory. Supposedly you have to earn more for them to give it to you, but even after you exceed their demand they will make excuses not to give you more, regardless of whether you met their "challenges" or not. In my estimation, the priorities were backwards. No one was looking out for me, and when held to task, they didn't take any responsibility.

Big potential to acquire good money.
Cons
All the trip expenses fall on you. No sales= total loss.

So much to learn, such little time.

The pay can be outstanding, get to travel(if you enjoy) the team environment and the team support is awesome.
Cons
Would only recommend to people already financially stable, pay for your own hotels, food, and gas. Training is very minimal (1 week). There’s to much to learn in a week. And especially when I started it wasn’t a good week for anyone. I didn’t get to see how to present the product, and the next week I was thrown out to go make sales not knowing how to do it. Also before starting the job you go through a course where you have 2 months to complete the course, they push you to hard to complete the course in 2 weeks, creates a ton of stress and to top it off you have to take the state exam a couple days after completing the course.

Pros
work with people who care for their customers
Cons
door to door high pressure sales
- Former Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
- You sort of get to decide how to structure your day
Cons
- Pay for everything yourself (gas, hotels, food etc) with no reimbursement - Their marketing system is literally knocking on random stores trying to sell - Have had a gun pulled on me before while doing this - Have to drive to the middle of nowhere because in structured towns knocking on doors to sell is illegal. Very sketchy
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Awesome money and able to help protect a lot of families
Cons
Travel and you’re away from home
- Former Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
-If you're manipulative and slimey you'll do well I know people who are successful but they aren't good people
Cons
-Have to pay for lodging and gas -Straight commission -Having to trick people into deals by not being allowed to give out a phone number, typical sales tricks
