    I worked at PlayNetwork

    Pros

Fun place to work at! Great people to work with, lots of opportunity.

    Cons

None really. A little bit of a cubicle atmosphere. Makes up for it with entertaining coworkers!

I have been working at PlayNetwork full-time

    Pros

Great people, fun office environment, relaxed atmosphere, decent benefits, management culture is supportive, they want to help you learn new skills

    Cons

Pay is below average and there is not enough work to go around. Some days I don't send a single email because the work is absolutely dead. I honestly don't know how the video arm of this company is in business,

I have been working at PlayNetwork full-time

    Pros

Great people, innovative technology, free concerts in office, quarterly appreciation events. Since it's a small company, there's opportunity to collaborate and gain experience in many parts of the business.

    Cons

Low pay, expensive health care, hypocritical/one-sided HR, slow to move with new technology, understaffed, inflexible, lots of working in silos, many employees and managers have a "that's not in my job description" attitude, suspicious layoffs.

    Advice to Management

You make lots of promises in your Guiding Principles and Core Values - you should follow them. Listen to both sides of a story and appreciate all points of view instead of caving only to upper management even though it may be a worse choice for the business. Act on new technology quickly because soon it'll be old technology and the company will be outdated.
