Podchaser is simply the best!
Jan 3, 2023 - Business Development in Indianapolis, INRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Leadership is super supportive but drives everyone to accomplish their goals. The company culture is top-notch and gives us every resource to do the job at the highest level.
Cons
It's the reality of being a 100% remote organization with no physical location or HQ. At times it can be challenging to feel isolated from what the other sides of the company are accomplishing.
- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
What a wonderful company. Hard to believe you can work for a company where you legitimately LOVE what you do and mostly everyone you work with. I have never worked at a place that cared so much about its employees and the workplace culture. Amazing how tight knit you can feel when everyone is spread out all over the world. I hope to be here for a very long time.
Cons
there are no cons to display right now.

Exciting Opportunities for Autonomous Creatives and Innovators
May 18, 2022 - Customer Success ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Being at the cutting edge of the podcast industry means your ideas and innovations truly affect the machinations of a thriving medium. The rules are being written by you and your team every day. Podchaser encourages collaboration, and a "best idea wins" approach to the business. This is a perfect company for those that love to cross-train, and "multi-tasks well" is more than just keywords on your resume. Great work/life balance with flexible schedules and a 100% remote workforce!
Cons
If you need to have strong guidelines and processes to go by, this is not the company for you. I'm sure Podchaser will eventually have better cemented processes, but the industry itself is still in the figuring out its functions. Sometimes no one will have an answer for you, and you have to figure it out yourself. For me that's exciting, but could be frustrating for some personality types. The company rapidly expanded a little over a year ago, so some of the bells and whistles of a bigger organization aren't here yet, but they're coming. Most of the "cons" are just the normal growing pains of a startup.

Excellent employer to work for!
Jun 14, 2022 - Customer Success ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Super friendly, supportive, helpful and FUN coworkers Extremely inclusive Thorough training Work/life balance supportive Flexible schedule/all employees are remote Good pay and bene's Fun, online, non-work activities to create a sense of community even while all are remote Super knowledgeable/educated team- everyone knows their stuff, always on A-game Excel at vetting for only rock-star employees Very team orientated The work is FUN ! The industry is only growing, everyone has passion for Podchaser and takes a genuine sense of ownership. SUPER company to work for and one that is only going places and going FAR!
Cons
Not really a con depending on how you look at it, but intense, multiple interviews in hire process. Intense doesn't equate to not friendly or professional, just thorough to ensure a solid match for not only the role, but also the team and company culture. With any start-up that is growing exponentially, organizational, operational, and admin headaches from to time to time. But they always get worked out. They vet employees who understand this, can go-with-the-flow and easily adapt in this sometimes ambiguous environment.

Best Company I've Ever Worked For
Aug 10, 2022 - Member of Product TeamRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I've never worked for a company that took more pride & care in championing its employees. There's an amazing culture here that encourages individual growth, learning, and collaboration within an asynchronous system that allows for independence and autonomy. I also want to shout out the management teams - they're incredibly supportive.
Cons
There's a lot of autonomy here, which requires a certain level of independence & ownership over one's work. People are encouraged to set their own goals and pave their own paths - it's a very agile environment, so anyone who prefers a more top-down, waterfall environment may not find the work style to their liking.

Pros
Great product that is easy to believe in and share with the world. Add that to a workplace with tremendous flexibility and autonomy allows me to work in a way that makes sense for me. Yes, that helps with my personal work/life balance but also throughout my daily sales outreach. I'm sure more processes will come as the company grows but it's like a new frontier to settle and every employee is a part of building something special.
Cons
May not be a con for everyone, but if you want a big established company this isn't it. Although there are resources and tools to be successful this is still a startup. From a sales role I feel well equipped to get the job done. Just don't expect the frills of a large SaaS org. For now I actually count that as a pro. No window dressing to distract from the culture/leadership (which is all very positive in my view).

Pros
This is a great company to work for as a software developer. There is a lot of trust from management, autonomy and respect for developers and their opinions that you don't see at many other places. The culture is fun and quirky, and you never feel left out or that your work is not having an impact -- in fact, you are directly impacting the day-to-day operations and your contributions are celebrated in product updates!
Cons
As a fully remote company, folks who prefer to be at an office or regularly meeting up may not fare as well. For someone who has a lot of home responsibilities, or is otherwise fine with a fully distributed workplace, this won't be an issue at all!

Podchaser community
May 5, 2022 - Customer Service Manager (CSM)RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Podchaser has been nothing but welcoming and positive to work for. They let you learn at your own pace and provide the tools you need to be successful. Although this job is fully remote, they work hard to make sure we all feel connected and seen for our unique personalities. Everyone truly works as a team and and there are no egos involved.
Cons
You definitely need to be a self-starter and comfortable managing your own time management. It can be a distraction to work within reach of your tv remote or game controller!

Autonomy with Support
May 16, 2022 - Customer Success Manager (CSM)RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Closely knit team with an openness to ideas. All ideas are valued and considered and the ones with the highest potential are often entertained. LOTS of transparency. Lots of opportunities to break silos and work with members of the company. Fully remote -- all the time.
Cons
Sometimes direction is lost in the day-to-day, but it's only a slack away. As the company has scaled in the last year, the cons have gotten much smaller.
