      Pros

Amazing culture combined with industry leading clients makes for a great work environment. Opportunity to make multiple career paths with support from leadership.

      Cons

No 401k plan although positive is that there is a ESOP plan where you are granted shares on an annual basis. Biggest con is there is no PTO and no paid holidays.

      Great Place to Work

      Pros

Flexibility and hourly pay along with working with an assortment of clients. Work life balance is also encouraged and supported.

      Cons

No paid holidays or vacation. Also, if you're on the bench, you only get a portion of your rate, so unless you are a good cash-flow planner, that could hurt too.

      Compensation poor, people awesome

      Pros

Amazingly well grounded, broad interest, and bright colleagues. Firm seems to finally be setting priorities that value client delivery above other side work.

      Cons

Compensation is tough and tenure not rewarded even if you are a steady contributor. Bill rates rise and pay rates stay stagnant. PTO doesn't really exist...you have to take over 30 percent off in a given month to realize any paid time off if you are on the plus pay model. No paid holidays. Only 3 days of true PTO at a reduced rate.

      Point B Response

      COO

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. Unlike many organizations that have a set number of days one can take off, Point B’s compensation model is built to provide much more flexibility and choice. The upside to this allows each individual to determine the amount of time they take off in any given year as well as how much they want to work. The model is non-traditional in many ways, but it directly supports our values as a firm, and the opportunities we want to provide for people both inside and outside of work. Additionally, we are in the process of launching our new Client Focus Program to better support and recognize our client facing contributors. If interested, please reach out to me or your 1:1 director to share more of your feedback!

Some disconnect between image and reality

      Pros

Eligible to take LOA between projects. You're mostly left to your own devices, w/o interference. Folks are very experienced and have been open with information and help.

      Cons

No paid vacation. Long commutes. Bad buyers; and they continue to purchase from them. Complex payment structure and resistance to raises and bonuses. If you want more pay, focus is on more hours rather than rate increase. Work is very PM oriented... I have a hard time distinguishing the work from staff augmentation.

      Pros

Great people to work with and the support for work/life balance is the best I've ever experienced.

      Cons

Middle of the road compensation when considering no paid vacation or time off at all.
