I worked at Polaris Networks full-time

    Pros

-Friendly, casual environment, initially good for freshers to bridge the transition from college to corporate.
-Flat structure, open door set up- anyone can be approached at any point of time, irrespective of the post in company.
    -Flexible work hours
-Few good employee benefits & engagement plans
    -Campus hiring process is decent.
-Individual opinions of each team member considered carefully before taking decisions.
    -

    Cons

-Salary of support services other than engineering is not very good.
-Unprofessional behaviour often seen (which cannot be overlooked as part of 'friendly, casual environment) which often hampers work conditions at times & handling employees become difficult.
-HR department is less independent from absolute management influence, which makes functioning little difficult.

    Advice to Management

Provide more independence and scope for training and development of all employees across all departments

    Pros

Find this place as my next home, helpful seniors, flexible working hours, industry standard salary, work from home options for deserving candidates, give very good starting package for freshers, very co-operative senior management, they value your effort not rate you based on your achievement. Scope of learning is huge, they work in wireless networking domain, and engineers skilled to develop billing software or admin software cannot write these difficult codes, cannot even understand the technology, one needs to have good technical and networking understanding. It is one of the very few product companies working in Wireless Networking domain.

    Cons

few colleagues are selfish and non-co-operative, needs to review salaries of senior employees by giving better hikes based on their performance and trustworthiness.
    Need more number of holidays.

    Advice to Management

unity of command is lacking in some cases. Otherwise one of the most friendly senior management.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

    Friendly environment
    Flexible working hours
    Bengali speaking people

    Cons

    Poor hike
    Management extreme poor

Extreme work pressure.. Had to handle 6 projects simultaneously
Poor scope of learning. Company or manager pays no heed to skill development
Difficult to switch to another company as it works with rare technologies .. so not many companies
Tells any people to work in random area in random project and deliver work urgently

    Advice to Management

Pay heed to salary structure, organization structure and skill development
