I have been working at Polaris full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

full time employment kinda you get a lot off layoffs

    Cons

you start out as a temp, you get no benefits, people there are very clicky, very hard work dangerous how parts are brought to you, low pay for the work, you can be a temp for years some are never hired on.

    Advice to Management

pay your employees better, make things safer for your employees, give temps better benefits

I worked at Polaris full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great place to work if your good with your hands and working on deadlines. The wages and benefits offer students and any one who wants to go back to school the opportunity.

    Cons

If your not uses to being on your feet and dealing with repetition all while using tools and stocking parts it's easy to fall behind, in turn affecting the coworkers job before you and after you negatively.

    Advice to Management

More line leads may need to be trained to general areas to aide and or assist the line mangers to effectively address issues in a timely manner to assure less rework and return of company produced products.

    Pros

Fun product to work on and good perks

    Cons

The work load is crazy and fast pace. The only way to get a decent raise is to be promoted and that's what everyone focuses on.

    Advice to Management

Reward hard work rather then play politics

    Pros

Great people to work with; wonderful atmosphere and caring employers! I would definitely recommend working here. Experience is necessary. Fast paced!

    Cons

Fast paced, a large workload and long hours! Sometimes hours can spill into evenings and weekends as well as be able to be on call after hours for emergencies. These made it difficult to remain excited to go to work.

    Advice to Management

Continue to remain involved and supportive of employees. Continue to grow and change as the company grows and changes. Continue catering to clients and putting their needs first.
