      Company review

      Pros

Company has been growing fast in the past a few year. A lot of opportunities within the organization.

      Cons

A little behind in terms of manufacturing technologies and automation. This is just temporary. As the company grows, the technical know-how will grow as well.

      Terrible Work Life Balance

Feb 2, 2021 - Senior Financial Analyst in Medina, MN

      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Easy access to the products and cool vehicle benefits for employees to get a free vehicle - Decent compensation, but a large chunk of the compensation comes from the annual profit sharing bonuses rather than through base salary - Friendly people who make it easy to network - The high workload and flat organization make it easier to gain exposure with upper level management

      Cons

      - Horrible work life balance with little to no respect for personal time. The average week at Polaris is 50hrs minimum and everyone acts like it's normal. They preach "work hard, play hard" and family values, but don't bat an eye at expecting you to respond to an email at 11pm or while on PTO. - There have been a lot of acquisitions recently that have been added haphazardly causing a lot of silos and headaches from a system and reporting standpoint. - The organization is incredibly flat and very understaffed, causing a big workload and constant "panic modes" if someone goes on leave or leaves the company. - Riding culture perpetuates a "boys club" culture in the office - They often overload employees and then "promote" them in the same position to pacify them for doing several jobs at once. This results in a lot of "managers" and even "directors" that have no direct reports.

      Terrible

May 10, 2021 - Quality Technician in Huntsville, AL

      Business Outlook

      Pros

OT Potential. 401k Match. BlueCrossMN. Delta. VSP.

      Cons

No work/life balance. They will train you for 1/2 an hour and then throw you on the line and try and write you up a week later for not following process. They will set you up to fail. All assembly workers are “bodies” and there is no regard for personal lives outside of the plant. HR gets nothing accomplished and they would rather fire someone with 5+ years experience because they have one too many points and then have a job fair to hire 300 new people that maybe last a week. Terrible company. Don’t get trapped like I did!
