Great Place to Work
Jun 6, 2023 - Diagnostic Systems Engineer in Wyoming, MNRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Really cool if you like the area and are interested in power sports.
Cons
Outsource a lot of the software engineering so polaris engineers can focus on system design.

It's a shame I couldn't score it lower... the Madison AL location is dismal.
May 30, 2023 - Materials in Madison, ALRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Honestly, upon reflection, none, this was one of the worst job experiences I've had. I was there 3 months and I was looking for another company, and fortunately found one.
Cons
Turnover is high and constant, the pay is sorely below the national average in most positions. This place, from the top down, is a cluster. HR will say almost anything. They choose who, when and how to enforce 'rules', well, anything HR related. You're an old timer there after 2 years, because you've stayed for 1 year longer than most others. This location, Madison, AL, is constantly running job fairs, to try and stay staffed. And don't think that experience matters much, it's glossed right over, which makes you wonder why they hired you in the first place. If you don't have any, training is haphazard. They have no SOP and training material non existent. And parts, the way parts are treated is pathetic. Losing them, dropping them and not accounting for them. One would think after this much time operating it would be a well oiled machine, it's anything but that. And salaried folks, well everyone, don't believe much of anything they say, the benefits beyond medical (this insurance is pathetic), the discounts from other companies and even there, not likely. . Run don't walk away from this company, or at least the Madison AL location. Oh and the poor souls on the lines, they are not guaranteed 40hrs and 1 line or another is down constantly. I've seen those people drive in from all over and then be told to go home. And the last thing, I wouldn't own any of their products.

Unexpected
May 13, 2023 - Snow powertrain calibration engineer in Roseau, MNRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Very challenging working environment that pushes you to be the best you can. Very close team that wants to help everyone get to the highest level of performance possible. Everyone is very excepting of people from a variety of riding skills when out on vehicles.
Cons
Extremely stressful, especially during the snow season. Expect to work 50+hr weeks during the summer and 80+ hr weeks during the winter.

Great place to work
Apr 25, 2023 - Powertrain Calibration Engineer in Wyoming, MNRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The benefits are great as you get to use some of the vehicles if you choose to. The insurance is good and the people are great to be around. Its even better if you like engines, motorcycles, or any sort of vehicle
Cons
Some long weeks but I think it evens out. Training could be a little bit better but its definitely being worked on at the moment

Unprofessional and doesn't truly are about the employee
May 16, 2023 - Assembly Worker in Madison, ALRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
There's really no pros to this company. Why do you think they have 2.8 as a star rating ?
Cons
Practically everything. They don't accommodate for anyone if it's really needed. There's too many unruly adults that act like what you think a child would act.

Fantastic Intern Experience
May 3, 2023 - Sales and Marketing InternRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
-real world work experience (no silly intern projects) -travel -cross functional intern case competition -development program mentor -great community of fellow interns
Cons
I did not have any negative experiences. They could prioritize diversity more--They are working towards a more diverse culture as many of the employees are Minnesota natives.
