I have been working at PolyOne full-time

    Pros

Professional attitude, relevant training, dedicated management, good benefits, tuition reimbursement

    Cons

Not sure what to put here; PolyOne just bought out the small company I worked for. For those of us used to working for a privately held company, the transition to a global corporation is a big (and sometimes difficult) change.

    Advice to Management

Develop deeper relationships - right now a lot of managers are so "professional" they come across as superficial.

I have been working at PolyOne as an intern

    Pros

-rotational program and get to experience different sectors in the corporate world
-a lot of young people, creates a great culture
    - really willing to answer your questions
    -great training

    Cons

-not always a ton of work for interns to do
    - offices are slightly older but nothing too bad

    Advice to Management

Maybe have pre-planned projects for the interns, this way the interns aren't just sitting around with not a lot to do.

    Pros

Collaborative environment that pushes you to work hard and rewards those that do. PolyOne is continuing to grow and make investments into their businesses. The management teams seek candid feedback and are supportive of new ideas.

    Cons

Some difficulty remains in getting some staff to support the changes occurring, which can squelch the enthusiasm of those on board.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work, these are exciting times for our organization.

    Cons

Good application technology, but not much scientific knowledge based, co-work and relationship between BUs

    Advice to Management

I have been working at PolyOne full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The salaries are competitive and there are a lot of resources and they offer general training courses (Microsoft Office, etc), and the benefits are great.

    Cons

It's very "Corporate America", it doesn't feel close-knit.

    Advice to Management

The on-boarding and position specific training after promotions could be a lot better.
