I worked at Porsche Cars North America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Can learn so much. Exciting business and great products. Good benefits. International company.

    Cons

uses old tech (at least in the US), paper heavy and many teams are understaffed. If you are not German than oversees opportunities are not accessible to you.

    Advice to Management

open oversees opportunities to Americans or non-Germans as well because we know that Porsche invests in them heavily to help them progress. So why not do the same for everyone else. Either you say you value everyone or don't pretend!

    Pros

    Cons

workload is extensive and complex with tasks being pushed off from 1 to another

    Advice to Management

larger head count and less responsibility on "interns". Great company though with a very strategic approach to the market place.

I worked at Porsche Cars North America as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Great experience and opportunity to see the behind the scenes operations of the company. Also got to experience the cars and other special events/occasions. Also worked with a great team of people.

    Cons

No chance of full time employment after internship. Seems like they would rather have the cheaper labor from interns than adding more full time positions.

    Advice to Management

Do more to show employees thanks and appreciation for their work in general on a regular basis, not just during special events.

    Pros

It's a great company to intern. Interns are being expected to do real projects and not serve coffee or make copies. Internships are for six months and veg great way to learn and experience the cooperate environment.

    Cons

The employee headcount comes from Germany , so getting a full time is all about timing. So if you're looking to step your foot on the door and climb up the ladder, probably not a place to consider.
