    Negative Outlook

    Pros

Great teammates. Fun atmosphere. Hard work. Team spirit.

    Cons

Turnover is very high. Keeps becoming more difficult to imagine a newspaper matters. Low wages. Reporters, too.

    Advice to Management

Sell this paper to someone who actually cares. Your company has always made money, but it's getting tougher. Invest in the online. Level of talent pool keeps dipping lower and lower. You've lost several top people in last few years that you've never replaced. One of the owners thinks he invented the internet. Keep him away from staff, they all laugh at him.

    Pros

Flexible Schedules, Fun work environment, Time for Work and Family.
Overall a great work environment. Fun and Friendly Atmosphere. I would
certainly recommend working here if you are just getting starting in Sales.

    Cons

Poor compensation compared to other companies (same position)
    Poor benefit plans
Small Company. Very little opportunity for advancement or growth.

    Advice to Management

Offer a better incentive pay plan. Spiffs, Contests, etc.
Offer better health benefits for employees - dental and vision and lower deductible plans.
