    Pros

Everyone is really friendly and helpful. A really good work environment. I felt like all my bosses were great.

    Cons

I worked there for 4 years, and I can’t think of anything that was terrible. Again, a great place to work, you’re treated well.

Great commission. Family owned business. Keep your head down.

    Pros

The commission rate for services is 40%. Senior employees are booked first. It's a family owned business and they are generous, giving turkeys to all employees for Thanksgiving and end of year bonuses that increase with years of service. They also give scratch tickets on birthdays and gift cards on hire date anniversaries. Safety is important to management. They encourage providers to step away from any uncomfortable situations, and they will handle it . They provide free employee parking and free employee meals at lunch and dinner. They also provide all supplies and uniform tops. Providers are considered employees and not subcontractors so withholdings are taken care of. If willing to also work front desk shifts providers can become eligible for benefits. Several people stay there for many years.

    Cons

The commission rate is fixed and doesn't grow with years of service. Commission for product sales is only 10%. They are not consistent with ensuring senior providers get the services with the most commission. When it's busy providers need to advocate for breaks as they will fully book the 7 hour shift. Inconsistent breaks mean providers often miss staff meal times. The parking area is too small for the number of employees so it can be frustrating to maneuver. There are blackout days over holidays and vacations where providers are not allowed to take off time. When time off is permitted the provider is required to find their own coverage and get approval from management. It can take a while for things to be fixed or replaced. Management shows favoritism and forces out employees for personality and opinion differences. Pre-Covid they booked services so there was less than 10 minutes between appointments. There was a shocking lack of communication during the pandemic. Employees were not updated regularly about phases and protocols. Discounted services are also paid out at a discounted rate of commission.

    Fun place to work

    Pros

Flexible schedule, good pay (when there's business), fairly casual work atmosphere, and a pretty congenial work force. It's not rocket surgery or brain science, so it's easy to have fun with the job, and it is a great gig to have for students.

    Cons

When there isn't business, you had better have an alternative income source (or not need the income). Also, liquor, beer, and wine prices are high, so during cash bars you get a lot of complaints from guests, which difficult to do when you agree that 4.25 for a Bud Light is a little steep. You hit your head on the ceiling as soon as you walk through the door.

    Pros

A lot of room for growth in a jack-of-all-trades, generalist position where you book, plan, sell and run events and manage the department.

    Cons

Long hours and weekends, but it's part of the job.
