    National reference in Telecommunication sector in Portugal.

    Cons

    Not a company to grow in. The career planning exists but is not applicable to anyone.

    Challenge your teams, value workers that bring add value!

    due to several mergers the payroll is not atractive and the company need to renew its human capital

    Pros

    Leading customer service technology and innovation. Good work environment and team work. Top level management. Continuous looking to improve market share and customer satisfaction. Great product offer and competitive positioning.

    Cons

    Need more flexibility due to company size. More difficult to carreer upgrade due to company size.
    Carreer evaluation program needed to be revised.
    Difficulty to apply some progressive work measures due to union demands which are old vision.

    Advice to Management

    Develop a new career evaluation program. Revise the size of board of administration as it looks to big. Revise some political executive jobs that not produce company value just exist to satisfy political interests.

    The flexible hours.
    New projects every time

    people are not recognized for their value

    There should be a value retention program, and enhancement of new talents

    Company under a BIG financial pressure, with a big reduction of headcounts management, without any focus on their employees.

    Cons

    Great technical knowledge under teclo engendering field

    Advice to Management

    Try to give more focus to your employees, start to give some training fro example.

    I worked at Portugal Telecom (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Portugal Telecom (Altice Labs) was a great experience, because it is one of the largest companies in Portugal, and you get to learn a lot from very bright people.

    Cons

    Perhaps now one of the worst things about working here might be the fact of the company letting go a lot of people, due to the purchase by Altice Labs, so there's a lot of insecurity,

    Downsizing is the current motto

    Pros

    Massive work force full of talent and will to work and do better. Experienced people with no afraid to fail and constantly want to grow.

    Cons

    Senior management as no defined Goals to workers, no strategy at all.
    Majority of the Work Force does not feel recognized and respected with some of the decisions on RHs policy. Moral keep going down and it looks like no one upstairs is paying attention.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your people, really... Listen,because they know better than you. Try to create a new KPI that measures employes satisfaction and take that into account. Cuts don´t make companies better, motivated employes do it for you.
