I have been working at Postmates (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Tips,Good rates,no skills required, not using your own cash for pickups, decent with wait times/distances.

    Cons

Sooooooooooooo many cons. They used to show you both the pickup and dropoff before the delivery got accepted. They also used to have an inbound number you could call for support, but now Have replaced it with an automated email system. Also, they now rob you for half your delivery fee avid count multiple orders as a single pickup even if they go to two different far locations.

    Advice to Management

Stop constantly hiring because it's not helping anyone make money.Bring back the live order support instead of automated emails. You know like actual live order SUPPORT.Give the customer an incentive to tip. Also allow us to accept cash.

I have been working at Postmates (More than a year)

    Pros

Make your own schedule, no boss, get to be outside instead of in an office all day, fast deposits

    Cons

Not a guaranteed salary, rely a lot on customers tips, sometimes can't find a delivery for a couple hours in Manhattan

    Advice to Management

Require a tip of some sort for delivery or make a minimum payout per delivery regardless of tips

I have been working at Postmates as a contractor

    Pros

    None! None! None! None! None!

    Cons

The service areas are too large, and the pay is ridiculous.
Driver support is nonexistent - basically a drop-down menu in the app.
If the merchant is closed or otherwise unreachable, you will not be compensated.

    Pros

Make your own schedule, work as much as you want, whenever you want.

    Cons

Some days can be very slow. Depend on tips to make a decent salary. Do this for extra cash, not as your primary source of income.

I have been working at Postmates (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you are hungry and want to earn $4 for lunch, pick up a post mates delivery job and order yourself some food while you make a delivery. Other than that, don't waste your time at all.

    Cons

You'll basically be working for free. Damn difficult if not impossible to make the more than $10 an hour doing this. Average earnings was around $5 an hour but I had to pay for gas so I end up making way less or practically nothing.

    Advice to Management

Shut down Post Mates. You've been exploiting people for too long.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Do pay outs faster and at a higher pay rate, it's 2018 and people want to get paid faster! Duhh
