      Pros

Fun place to work. Employee discount was great across all Williams-Sonoma brands. Flexibility in scheduling and good leadership experience.

      Cons

Low pay, no benefits for part-time employees. Retail hours so especially during holiday season you can expect to have hours that are all over the place. Advancement seems to happen very slowly.

      Pros

Amazing co-workers. Employee discount. Love product

      Cons

Management in my location was terrible. Petty, immature and self-serving. If she was upset with you, she went out of her way to make your life miserable. Low pay, but knew that going in - so I can't complain Unrealistic sales goals Management gossips about associates HR is a joke

      Pros

The sample sale for FTE. The location

      Cons

Management is a pack of dogs and employees are insignificant food for them to claw at. Work life balance is non existence. So much bullying and backstabbing you won’t know where to turn. Low pay long hours thankless job that’ll leave you in therapy. Do not work for any WSI brand.

      Pros

Fun to work with customers and help them design their homes.

      Cons

Low pay, work weekends, no upward mobility . This is a very time consuming job to help each customer with a variety of needs and deadlines / go to their home., do design work for free while at the same time help customers calling in and walking in who want minor decor or sheets. Expect to work every weekend.

      Pros

Great discount, diverse staff, pretty store. Passionate associates. Decent quality product. Discount for all Williams Sonoma brands. Great customers for the most part.

      Cons

Absolutely pathetic training, low pay, non-competitive bonus program and benefits program compared to other retailers. Archaic, clunky computer and register systems. Endless customer service issues due to late deliveries of orders. Little support from online and phone customer service. General lack of training across the board - at stores, with customer service phone and email responders, credit card customer service, and delivery service. The company seems more concerned with stock prices and shareholder happiness than employee respect and development. Employees need to use personal resources (email, GPS, texting, home computer with office-type programs) to give great service to customers.

      Pros

Awesome discount! Very flexible with scheduling for part timers. Chance to work with beautiful merchandise. Great training for Design Studio Specialists.

      Cons

Low pay and no commission. As a Design Specialist you put a lot of time and effort into satisfying your customer. Some sales are very $$$ yet only make an hourly wage. Expected to visit clients in home, etc.
