I have been working at Powell Industries (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good work environment, not micromanaged. Results oriented, ability to be creative and management accepts input. Flexibility in scheduling, at least for part time employees.

    Cons

The volume of work does not support full time staffing. The company is small so the training is not formal, or really easy to pick up. It requires one to keep their eyes and ears open, and be able to ask a lot of questions.

    Advice to Management

Develop at least a training manual, describing the expectations, and minimum requirements for successful employment. Update your filing system to include more scanned documents, versus paper document retrieval.
