Great working environment. Treat you like a second family. Open bars, trips to different office locations, free trip to Cancun every year (flight and hotel included), different promotions for gift cards, free suits, trips, and items worth $1,000 or more), potential to move up in the company quickly, pay based upon how focused you are and how hard you want to work, you control how much money you make

Door to door(giving free estimates not selling anything), hours arent typical 9-5

    Pros

Although very unprofessional, the overall culture is amazing. The people is what I will miss most about Power. This job is up and down and not for everyone. Some weeks are good, some are very bad. Need to be mentally and physically sound everyday to make a lot of money here. That being said, the opportunity is definitely there to make a lot of money. It just depends on how hard you want to work.

    Cons

Inconsistent paychecks. Benefits don't kick in until 90 days..

    Advice to Management

Figure out a more steady pay structure to help the high turnover rate.

    Pros

Gain great experience dealing with loads of people
Opportunity to make a lot of money

    Cons

Base pay is NOT enough to get by.
Permits rarely issued. You can get stopped by police and people have been even arrested.

    Advice to Management

    Grow a conscience.

    Pros

The company is great. The hours are consistent and there is room to move up with the company in a short period of time. The people you work with are all focused on the same goal which makes it easier to focus on your goals.

    Cons

You have to work saturdays, this is good and bad. When applying for a sales position they do not tell you that you have to start at the marketing position first.

    Advice to Management

Be more forward when it comes to the position you are hiring. There is a chance that people with consider the company as a bait and switch.

    Pros

The environment is cool, most people are their to help you with what ever you need. The earning potential is based on your own person work ethic really. Ton of room to move around in the company.

    Cons

Not too many cons. But when they send you out into the field for your work day you can be by your self in very unsafe neighbor hoods. Management will not send a car to at least check up to make sure people are safe.

    Advice to Management

More hands on training then in class room training. I felt like the class room training was way more intense then it needed to be. Hands on training really allows you to see and put your training to good use.

I worked at Power Home Remodeling full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people and the office environment were something that i have never experienced before. Excellent. The earning potential was also incredible it was astounding how much money an employee could make because there is no cap on bonuses and commission.

    Cons

The biggest con that this position has is that you are going door to door. In the summer and winter months this can be brutal dealing with the weather conditions. Also you will deal with rejection around 100 times every day which can take a toll on an employee towards the end of the day.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. You are keeping employees happy.

    Pros

Good people and management, you can make decent money if you can force people to take a free estimate. Most people will just agree to get you off there door step

    Cons

Door to door marketing which they straight up lie to you in the interview. It's a Ponzi scheme they hire as mang people they can to get as many people out in the field to knock on as many doors as possible. Most houses have already been knocked on by us in the past. The cops gets called on out at least 4 times a week from complaining home owners. No opportunity to have a life outside work hours are 10-6 but you won't get back home until anywhere from 8-10

    Advice to Management

Be straight up with people when explaining the Jon

    Pros

    Quick way to make money.
Dont have to drive to location unless you go to the retail location.
    Generally nice people.

    Cons

They drug test.. but if you fail.... you only get a warning you still keep your job.
The Majority of people who do well in this environment lie to customers cheat the system and praise following the rules.... dont get me wrong you can do the right thing and make $$ but you are the exception.
During my two years of working here... drug deals in the parking lot were standard.. (Melville NY area)
Management was aggressive and was very confrontational if standards weren't met often making fun of employees in front of the staff and trying to embarrass them.

    Advice to Management

your top performers aren't necessarily the best representation of your company. A good portion of them are doing unethical things... I know you want results but stop ignoring the signs this will eventually lead to lawful action.
