I have been working at Power Home Remodeling full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Power is a great company to work for because they create value for all of the stakeholders involved. They are a people first company and they check all of the boxes in terms of what I seek in a career opportunity. They also have excellent leadership which isn’t profit driven and are extremely innovative.

    Cons

The job itself is difficult and demanding. To succeed you must have discipline, grit, and work hard. I work evenings and Saturday mornings.

    Advice to Management

Continue to put put people first. Also, focus on getting quality people versus skilled or experienced.

I have been working at Power Home Remodeling full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have seen first hand the difference that PowerHRG can have ones life. Because of Power hiring a diverse group of people who share a common interest in having a positive effect on others and communities that they work in, there is a “One team, One fight.” mentality. Since working at Power I have personally learned lots about myself, practiced patience and have gained lots of confidence.

    Cons

Working at Power is not an easy job. It is challenging, however, this creates a web of support systems.

    Advice to Management

Continue to get feedback from employees. What I appreciate is that there is a clear path to being heard within Power.

    Great office atmosphere
Can make a ton of money if you don't mind having zero free time

Crazy hours especially in the beginning. Multiple times I'd get to the office at 8 for training then after would go to an appointment and wouldn't get home til sometimes 11pm-midnight.
Drive all over the place and no reimbursement

    Advice to Management

    Reimburse gas
    Stop rushing recruits through training
