    An Opportunity for Everyone

Sep 30, 2020 - Entry Level Sales Representative in Tampa, FL
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Ample opportunity for income (including base salary and benefits), many different career paths available, work-life balance is well above average, management at all levels is both fair, involved, and understanding. This job will develop you both professionally and personally in a way that you won't find anywhere else. As someone who has worked one of the worst entry level sales jobs imaginable for seven months, this job is a breath of fresh air for hard workers. You can find a career in pretty much anything here, as long as you're willing to prove your work ethic and ability.

    Cons

The job itself is definitely difficult, and if you're looking for something temporary, this job is not for you. Momentum is huge in this job, and although it's very forgiving, it can be easy to get inside your own head.

    Great culture and first job

Feb 19, 2021 - Sales Representative in Waltham, MA

    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

The culture is what makes this company great. Growth and development as both a sales rep and person are genuine. The company sponsored trips are one of a kind.

    Cons

The work never stops. The amount of hours that you put in is not directly correlated to your income and you are made to feel bad if you Power is not your number 1 priority at all times. Days are spent practicing scripts/shadowing appointments (not getting paid) and nights are primarily when reps run their own appointments where you only make money if you sell. On call 6 days a week with 20K miles a year of driving to appointments.

    High turn over rate

Feb 19, 2021 - Sales Representative in Irving, TX

    Business Outlook

    Pros

When you over perform you are paid well.

    Cons

Work every other Saturday. Put thousands of miles on my car driving to territories and they don't reimburse you for miles. When I was initially hired, I was told that we would be using company vehicles.

    Don't do it.

Feb 3, 2021 - Sales and Marketing Representative

    Pros

You have the potential to make good money. It's real easy to get a job here. I met a few cool people.

    Cons

If you want to do well at Power, you'll have to sell your soul and become a scripted power-bot. If you're not all into their corporate culture, they will quickly sniff you out (real creepy) and try and get you to stay. So happy I got out of there.
