Culture, Work/Life balance, Goals, Career Advancement

    Business Outlook

    Pros

The great thing about working at Power Home Remodeling is how transparent they are in the job description/interview process. Company culture was emphasized when I first started looking into the company. After working at Power for sometime, I believe that company culture is a major component to why working at Power is so great. I have made many friends in the short span of time I have been employed with them and I’m sure to make more in the future. The work environment is very goal oriented and pushes you to do the best that you can. Lastly, career advancement was very important to me as I am a recent college graduate who just entered the professional workforce. Career advancement is very achievable in this company as long as you work hard.

    Cons

I don’t find there to be many cons due to the fact that my vision of a workplace aligns with how Power is currently operated. From the perspective of someone who does not share the same vision as I, work/life balance would be a drawback. The job itself is result driven, and those who like to exceed standards may struggle to maintain a balance of their work/life.

    Pros

Culture is good not great. You'll probably make a few friends. Commissions are lucrative.

    Cons

A lot of false promises. Toxic work environment. Bosses that only care about bottom line even though they preach that they care about you. Absolutely zero work life balance. No compensation for tolls, gas, or wear and tear on car.

    Hard work pays off

Aug 30, 2021 - Customer Development Representative in Edison, NJ

    Business Outlook

    Pros

Power is, above all else, a meritocracy. The job is full of freedom, and accountability on a day to day basis is lacking, meaning those who maintain their focus and drive can earn more money than they probably thought possible when taking the job. Those who rise to the top are rewarded handsomely on their pay checks, while those who struggle are afforded constant training and resources to help them succeed. Self-starters, hard-workers, and goal-setters will find a competitive environment in which they can all thrive. Moreover, the job is very rewarding from the perspective of helping homeowners who desperately need it, along with the pay structure rewarding hard workers and efficient employees. The culture is quite energetic and team oriented, making it the perfect environment for any former athletes.

    Cons

This job is not for the faint of heart. Weather and unpleasant homeowners can ruin your day if you lack the mental fortitude and undying optimism required of a Power employee. Work-life balance leaves something to be desired between some late nights and the occasional Saturday shift.
