I have been working at Power Integrations full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Company has more than doubled in market value since I joined yet it feels like an agile startup. We know executives by first name with a very open culture. I've worked at small firms to big techs and by far, Power Integrations is one of the best companies to work for in the Bay Area.

    Cons

Not a lot of nearby lunch options yet.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

I worked at Power Integrations part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I did a summer internship at Power Integrations in the finance department as a part of my Master's program. I got an opportunity to work with the top level management directly and learn from their experiences. My internship over there was extremely insightful and educative. I worked on a couple of projects with the CFO and the finance director of the company, who helped me to understand the semiconductor industry and the role of finance in a company's growth. Through this internship, I got an opportunity to get a taste of many roles in finance that helped me to choose a career path for myself. Other employees were also very helpful and welcoming.

    Cons

You need to own a car if you want to work at the San Jose office. No public transport available. Or Uber is the only next option available.

    Pros

Perfect place to learn and enhance your analog test technical skills. Company provide better medical plan when compare to other companies.

    Cons

HR cutting expenses all over places. I stop going to all of the company parties since HR is not willing to spend the money on employees.

I have been working at Power Integrations full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly, respectful, collaborative ethical company culture with work-life balance. Every Silicon Valley company has hard working, goal-oriented smart people but PI offers much more.

    Cons

If leaving PI, most likely will be disappointed with the culture shock of how most other companies are run: unfriendly.

    Advice to Management

Company culture is the one of the biggest assets.
