I have been working at Powerhouse full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Most people are genuine and nice. Some of upper management show favoritism and have no idea what they’re doing there self

    Cons

Hiring and promotions depend on who you know and who’s rear you will kiss. Definitely not based on experience or qualifications.

I have been working at Powerhouse full-time for less than a year

    Pros

In the duration of time I have been with Powerhouse, I have seen several levels of leadership & my peers invest in my success. While they say "you drive your training..." I do feel that I have the support of my peers and my managers behind me. Leadership is consistently open with initiatives & areas of opportunity, as well as how they are addressing them. It's refreshing to have clear communication that isnt always happening behind closed doors. My peers also help create an amazing culture to work in and i've recently seen several team members in my department promoted. The path for my growth has been laid out not only by my direct manager but by my Director and my Department head. It's the first time in a long time that I feel I have a career path vs.a job.

    Cons

It's definitely hard work, if you are looking for a slow paced role - this is not it. I agree with some of the online reviews that training could be a bit more lined out and documented. All in all I think the key to success is going to be being willing to do the work. Im inspired to do that because of the vision and path being laid out by my leadership team.

I worked at Powerhouse full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Catered food on occasion, met some good people--but I'm pretty sure most if not all of them no longer work there.

    Cons

Two faced management, unfair to select employees, doesn't respect family, the office induces a toxic work environment, continues to promote/advance poor leaders and "yes men"--snuffs out people that truly care about the company, dishonest and (at times) unethical with its subcontractors.
