Reviews about "good pay"

Great, fast growing company... might be experiencing some growing pains
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Lots of opportunities for upward mobility at a company that keeps getting bigger each year. It seems like there is either a new huge contract that needs to be filled or a new company that PCC purchased every month. It also helps that the pay is outstanding and the bonus plan is even better!
Cons
Everyone is held accountable for their work...all the time. It is a traditional manufacturing company (hot, dirty and old). If you aren't good at your job it is not an easy place to hide!

Pros
great pay and all the overtime you could ever want
Cons
terrible management they waste they're time trying to fire people for doing there job CORRECTLY more concerned with placing blame than finding solutions constantly breathing down employees back and even worse when it comes to other management oh and terrible work life balance say good bye to your family

Pros
Consistent hours and pay. Benefits are decent for the type of work. Relatively easy work.
Cons
Terrible work/life balance. Anti-union corporate policies. Rampant Nepotism/favoritism. Inconsistent use of disciplinary measures. Management farm/high turn-over.

Heavy industrial Forge facility, dirtiest nastiest place but offers great pay and benefits for the work done.
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great pay for a moderate amount of work due to the lack of ability of management to plan or organize anything.
Cons
The place is controlled chaos at best, inherently dangerous, and quite possibly will be the death of me from the air quality I breathe while working here.

Pros
great pay and bennifits also good 401
Cons
shifts many long hrs. to work
- Current Employee, more than 5 years★★★★★
Pros
The pay can be very good dependent on how well you do for the quarter.
Cons
Demanding work environment and is not for everyone. Need a thick skin to survive long term. Limited succession planning at best.

Pros
When the bonuses were good it made financial sense. The work life balance is horrible. When you factor the hours spent vs. your pay including bonuses your $/hour aren't very good.
Cons
*work life balance terrible *little to no investment in new technologies *unrealistic demands on organizations without an up front investment in people or capital improvements *always working harder and not smarter *GE has too much influence on this company-degrading earnings. *Division leadership (Small Structures) isn't competent about the product they produce or about how to product it *arogance at the top is intolerable and unhealthy to the morale

Don't get stuck here unless you have a degree and are not working on the floor.
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
If you get hired on the company has good stability after you build up your seniority and the pay is decent.
Cons
Extremely hostile and hard on your body, walk in the door and half the people that are working on the parts are limping or have permanent injuries from the demands of the job. Never expect to hear a thank you or a good job. Also health benefits have gotten much worse over the years and have not kept up with annual cost of living wage increases. If you have a family this is not the place for you, unless you don't mind not seeing them and you like working FORCED/MANDATORY overtime for months at a time meaning no days off. I asked for my sons 5th birthday off that was on what was supposed to be my weekend and was told no after I had just worked a month without a day off.

Pay is pretty good and after you have been here a while it's hard to get fired and you dont have to work hard
Cons
Your ideas are NOT welcome, just do your job and be a good little compliant worker.
